Music is one of our many passions and we have been fortunate enough to have been involved in both contemporary and classical outdoor concert tours as well as one off gigs and shows, choreographing firework displays to both pre-recorded and live music. There are a number of ways we achieve such amazing effects: · listening to pre-recordings of the relevant pieces to accurately pinpoint the change of pace, the dramatic crescendo or that all important final hit · By rehearsing live with the group or orchestra to obtain a thorough understanding of the band and how they perform. · Then with a knowledge of the piece or tracks we either determine cue points or mark up a copy of the musical score to follow through with the artists as they perform · Finally we use these cue points for "pyro" hits, or, as is often the case with live orchestral productions, choreographing the firework effects to the music and then reading through the score as its played on the night so that we can ensure pinpoint accuracy. |
